Providing individual bespoke characters to mass costumes for opening ceremonies, theatre, events, commercial and corporate films, television & Media, Janine Marie Short, aka Nene is a versatile and innovative Costume Designer with a rack of esteemed achievements under her belt in her 17 year career. 

Starting with her artwork and creations being proudly showcased at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Nene has gone on to produce for renowned brands such as Rolex, Expo2020, Dubai Tourism, Atlantis, and Zero Gravity to name but a few.

Nene has cemented herself in the UAE entertainment industry as the most sought after costumières and stylists.  Her gift for producing truly distinctive creations, whether it’s her sketches to origami, couture to wigs is second to none, with her imagination knowing no bounds when it comes to her original, high quality work.
